Corona and new variants of Corona are wreaking havoc across the country at this time, but Noida and Ghaziabad are fully prepared to fight due to their existing means at this time. According to Noida and Ghaziabad, they have more covid beds than the second wave and they can be activated as soon as the cases increase.
Corona positive after eight people return from abroad!
After a few months of silence, the number of Covid in both the districts has started increasing again. While 85 cases have been reported in Ghaziabad so far this month, 113 cases have been reported in Noida.
There are 55 active cases in Ghaziabad, out of which 52 patients are in home isolation. There are 56 patients in Noida, all of whom are recovering at home. So far, eight people in Ghaziabad and Noida have been found corona positive after returning from abroad.
From 3,000 beds to 4500 beds:

Noida Chief Health Officer Sunil Sharma said that the plan to increase the number of hospitals or beds was based on the number of cases reported in the district. When Covid cases reach 10%, 25% and 50% of the peak of the previous wave, beds will be increased.
He said that the Covid hospitals have already been identified and they can be prepared at short notice. According to officials, during the second wave, there were around 3,000 hospital beds in Noida, which may be increased to 4,500 this time, with 450 beds for children as well.
Ghaziabad also ready with its plan
Ghaziabad is also fully ready with its plan. District Surveillance Officer RK Gupta said that a Covid Management Committee headed by the District Magistrate is monitoring the daily scenario.
Specific roles have been assigned to all senior administrative and health officials starting from surveillance, contact tracing, deployment of RRTs and referral services. Meanwhile, only two Covid cases were confirmed in Ghaziabad on Monday after 34 cases were reported in the last three days.
